I’m Caitlin, in my 3rd year at IPSA, English stream, Vehicle specialization. I joined the school after a Bac with Maths, Physics-Chemistry and NSI options, and have always had a passion for aviation. I discovered IPSA by searching for “aeronautical engineer” on the internet… and I don’t regret that choice!

What fascinates me is the beauty of airplanes, their power, their uniqueness. For me, they symbolize travel and freedom.

The atmosphere at IPSA is dynamic and friendly, with students helping each other out and a rich community life.

A project that left a lasting impression on me: our tactile map of the Parc de Vincennes for the visually impaired, produced as part of the Projet d’Int\u00e9r\u00eat G\u00e9n\u00e9ral. It was a powerful human, technical and collective experience, which opened me up to a different approach to engineering.

I also did an internship at Air France Industries, where I worked on avionics equipment. It was an invaluable immersion in the reality of the field, where I learned a lot about electronics… and about myself.

After IPSA, I’d like to design more efficient and environmentally-friendly aircraft structures.

And to a future student? I’d say that if aerospace is your dream, here you’ll find the means to turn that dream into a concrete project.
