IPSA Summer School 2026: Two Weeks in Paris to Enter the Aerospace World
As every year, IPSA opens its doors to international students with a two-week immersive Summer School. On the agenda: engineering, innovation, drone design… and discovery of the French aerospace and space industry. A unique experience combining skill development with cultural immersion in the heart of Paris.
Summer School IPSA: an intensive immersion in drone engineering
From July 6 to July 17, 2026, participants will take part in a comprehensive academic experience focused on drones, from theory to practice. Guided by specialized instructors, students will explore the fundamentals of flight, modeling, and control and stabilization systems using sensors.
Step by step, they will move from learning key concepts to designing, building, and piloting a multi-rotor drone. The program concludes with a final project: testing, analyzing, and flying a drone entirely designed by the students themselves. A concrete and rewarding achievement that strengthens both their academic profile and their CV.
An international experience in the heart of Paris
Beyond technical learning, the IPSA Summer School offers a true cultural immersion. International students are welcomed to Paris for two weeks combining academic discovery and cultural experiences. Intercultural workshops, guided visits to the Air and Space Museum, and iconic excursions — such as the Palace of Versailles or a Seine river cruise — enrich the experience.
Supervised by IPSA’s international team, students evolve in a multicultural environment that encourages exchange, openness, and the creation of lasting connections with peers from around the world.
Summer School IPSA: a springboard for academic and personal development
This intensive program, equivalent to 4 ECTS credits, provides a first immersion into the world of aerospace engineering and new mobility technologies. It is designed for international students who want to discover the sector, acquire practical skills, and experience a meaningful international program.
With an application deadline set for April 30, 2026, the IPSA Summer School stands out as a unique opportunity to combine academic learning, hands-on projects, and cultural discovery in one of Europe’s most dynamic aerospace ecosystems.
