Control, Optimization and Decision (COD)

Mastering complex systems and decision-making through applied mathematics and automation

In a fast-changing aerospace world, the performance of intelligent systems depends on our ability to understand, model and control complex dynamics.

IPSA’s Control, Optimization and Decision (COD) research team develops advanced methods for mathematical modeling, automatic control, optimization and signal processing, with applications ranging from mechanical vibrations and bioreactors to radar imaging and autonomous robotics.

THE GOALS
Building robust control algorithms
Deciphering fine-grained dynamic phenomena (such as time delays or stochastic couplings)
Offer concrete solutions in the fields of the environment, healthcare, embedded systems and artificial intelligence.
