My name’s Eunice, I’m from Royan and I joined IPSA after a baccalaureate with maths, physics-chemistry and expert maths options. Today, I’m in my 3rd year, specializing in Systems, with a strong passion for space.

What drew me to IPSA was my desire to work in space exploration. I attended an Open Day in Toulouse, and was convinced by the hands-on approach to training.

What I love about space is its ability to push back the limits of what’s possible. Designing instruments to explore the universe, contributing to science… that’s what thrills me.

The atmosphere at IPSA is very friendly: students help each other out a lot, and the projects and associations offer plenty of opportunities to develop beyond the classroom.

A project that stood out for me? The one on the adaptable shower chair, designed for the elderly or people with reduced mobility. It wasn’t directly related to aerospace, but it taught me a lot about design, 3D modeling and, above all, the practical usefulness of engineering.

I’m also a member of the Royal Aeronautical Society, which enables me to attend conferences, talk to industry professionals and deepen my vision of space.

In terms of professional experience, I did an internship at Air France Industries in Orly, in the maintenance workshop. It was a very formative immersion, which taught me technical rigor and respect for airline industry standards.

What’s next for me? A PhD in space instrumentation, to do research.

To a future student? I’d say: if you’re passionate about aerospace and want to train in a stimulating environment, with concrete projects and a real dynamic, IPSA is a great school for that.
