Vincent FAUQUEMBERGUE

Originally from the Amiens region, I joined IPSA in 2020 after passing my baccalauréat with flying colors.
I’ve been fascinated by aerospace since secondary school, especially launchers and satellites, and I chose IPSA for its specialization in this field and its dynamic community life. The atmosphere is one of solidarity, with a natural mutual aid between classes and nearly 100 associations offering a wide range of opportunities.
I’m particularly interested in aircraft and rocket propulsion, as well as computational fluid dynamics (CFD). This passion led me to choose the corresponding specializations along the way.
At AéroIPSA, the school’s astromodeling association, I held the positions of project manager, president and vice-president. I led projects such as Hanami, Unknown and ARDAN, developing my organizational and technical skills.
In 2023, I spent my semester at the University of Applied Sciences in Munich, deepening my knowledge of materials science and structural fatigue, while discovering German culture.
I’m currently doing my final year internship at GDTech in Bordes, as a CFD design engineer specializing in aeroelasticity. My mission is to develop and test different aeroelasticity resolution methods on the STAR-CCM+ software.
After IPSA, I’d like to pursue a career as a CFD design engineer, specializing in structures or combustion, a constantly evolving field that requires constant technological monitoring.
To any future student hesitating to join IPSA, I would advise them to get involved in an association, whether technical, sporting or other. Community life is at the heart of IPSA and one of its greatest assets.
