After a scientific baccalaureate, I entered the IPSA via the CPGE competitive entrance exam, following the vehicle track with a major in mechanics and structure, and an option in aeronautical airframes. At the same time, I chaired the rowing association for two years, taking part in two French university championships.
My final year internship in 2020 at CERFACS focused on research in meteorology and machine learning. I then completed a thesis at CEA Marcoule on fluid mechanics modeling in a liquid-liquid extraction column, defended in November 2023. After a post-doctorate at CERFACS, I joined Adagos, where I develop a parsimonious AI tool for solving complex physical problems and support companies in its use.
The balanced theoretical and practical training I received at IPSA made it easy for me to enter the aerospace industry. The group work skills I’ve acquired are essential in my day-to-day work, fostering interdisciplinary collaboration.
My advice to IPSA students is to be confident in their skills and dare to apply for jobs they’re passionate about, even if they don’t have all the required skills. Recruiters value motivation and the ability to learn. I’m most proud of the fact that I’ve been able to combine a professional and sporting career, continuing to row at national level and winning several medals at French championships.
