Power generation systems engineer at Ascendance Flight Technologies

Since August 2024, I’ve been a power generation systems engineer at Ascendance Flight Technologies, a Toulouse-based start-up developing ATEA, a hybrid electric aircraft with vertical take-off and landing.

Before coming to IPSA, I obtained a scientific baccalauréat with a mathematics option at the Lycée Sainte-Philomène in Haguenau, Alsace.

At IPSA, I followed the vehicle pathway, specializing in aeronautical mechanics and structures.

In my fourth year, I spent a semester in Arizona, USA, an enriching experience both academically and culturally.

At the same time, I founded the tennis association “Ten’IPSA” and pursued my career as a tennis referee, officiating at major events such as Roland-Garros, Bercy and the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

The versatile training I received at IPSA enabled me to acquire essential technical and professional skills, which are much appreciated in a start-up like Ascendance. I’m currently making a direct contribution to the decarbonization of aviation by working on ATEA’s hybrid electric engine, an exciting and meaningful project.

I see the aeronautical sector in full transition towards more eco-responsible solutions, integrating new technologies to reduce aviation’s carbon footprint.

My advice to IPSA students: have confidence in yourself, dare to explore new aeronautical or space projects, and listen to experienced professionals.

My greatest pride lies in the boldness to undertake and seize opportunities, both in engineering and in arbitration.
