Have you acquired solid professional experience in aeronautics, space or a related field? Thanks to Validation des Acquis de l’Expérience (VAE), it’s possible to obtain the IPSA engineering diploma without taking the initial training course, by valorizing your skills acquired in the field.

This aeronautical VAE represents a unique opportunity to gain recognition for your professional expertise.

What is VAE?

VAE enables you to gain official recognition of your professional, salaried, self-employed or voluntary skills, with a view to obtaining a diploma or professional qualification.
At IPSA, it leads to a diploma in aeronautics and space engineering, identical to that awarded through conventional training, and recognized by the Commission des Titres d’Ingénieur (CTI).
VAE in aeronautics is open to anyone with at least three years’ professional experience directly related to the diploma in question.

The stages

Contact and orientation

Exchange with a VAE advisor to analyze the relevance of the approach and frame the project

File admissibility

Sending of an admissibility file to be studied by the training department

Individualized orientation interview

Meeting with a consultant to define the support plan

Creation of the validation file

Drafting of a file describing your career path, your missions, your skills and the results obtained. This support can be provided with or without pedagogical support.

Defense before a jury

Presentation of file to a jury of teachers and professionals

Jury’s decision

The jury may approve the application in full or in part, or suggest a different way of obtaining the diploma.

Rates and financing

– Eligibility study: €450
– Individual orientation interview: €180
– Pedagogical support (optional but recommended): €1,900
