Materials, Mechanics, Fluids & Energy (2MFE)

Understanding and mastering materials and fluids to meet the challenges of the aerospace industry

In the aerospace industry, system performance relies heavily on the ability to design, model and numerically validate structures, materials and flows.

The Materials, Mechanics, Fluids & Energy (2MFE) research team at IPSA, a leading aeronautics and space school, focuses on experimentation, multi-scale modeling and advanced simulation, to help design innovative materials and control complex flows.

THE GOALS
Developing high-performance predictive models
Understanding the finer points of physical phenomena
Contribute to the creation of materials and systems that are more efficient, sustainable and adapted to the challenges of the transport, energy and advanced technology sectors.
