Aerospace Test Engineer
The aerospace test engineer is responsible for planning, carrying out and analyzing technical tests on components, systems or entire vehicles in the aerospace field.
He/she validates the performance, reliability and safety of systems subjected to extreme conditions (vibration, heat, vacuum, etc.).
The test engineer plays a key role in the certification of new products before they are put into service or launched into space.

Technical skills
Good knowledge of test methods (mechanical, thermal, vibration, fatigue, acoustic) and measurement systems (sensors, instrumentation).
Proficiency in data acquisition and processing software (LabVIEW, Matlab, etc.).
Knowledge of aerospace-specific test equipment (test benches, wind tunnels, high-speed cameras, optical measurement systems).
Understanding of certification standards and regulatory requirements (EASA, FAA, CNES, ESA).

Working conditions
Travail principalement sur site, dans des laboratoires d’essais ou des centres de tests, avec des déplacements réguliers sur des sites d’essais spécifiques (aérodromes, centres spatiaux).
Participation à des essais en conditions réelles (en vol pour les avions, sur banc pour les lanceurs et satellites), parfois dans des environnements contraignants.
Horaires variables, pouvant inclure des astreintes ou des essais de nuit en fonction des campagnes de tests.
