Basile GEST-MANFÉ

I chose IPSA for its specialized training in aeronautics and space, a field that has always fascinated me.

During the Open Days, I was able to talk to teachers and students, which confirmed my choice. The atmosphere at IPSA is both studious and friendly, with a strong group dynamic, particularly through collaborative projects and student associations.

As a member of the IPSA Flight association, I’m involved in the development of flight simulators, including that of an Extra 330, a single-seater aerobatic aircraft. This project enabled me to acquire skills in CAD (Computer Aided Design) and applied technical drawing.

In the future, I’m hesitating between two paths: working in aircraft design (airliners or light aircraft) or continuing my studies to become an airline pilot. IPSA allows me to explore these perspectives while developing my skills in an environment in phase with the challenges of the aeronautics of the future.

IPSA offers 5 years of study in the field we’re most passionate about: aeronautics. The courses, projects and teachers are as close as possible to the aero world, which means we quickly find a “meaning” to what we’re studying.
